Hi me and my clan instaled your Clansphere web for our clan website. But we heard that we need 2 setup on ftp some persimissions on some folders and file's so can some on explain which persimission,where, which file  pleasePS: Our host is not free its buyed host we pay it ( i think they got security) but anyway a lot ppl say me that i need those persimission setups so can anyone tell me how set it ? |

if u use file-zilla just right-click on the folder u want 2 set the permission, then select file permissions. you will see 9 possible options. selecting/disselecting them will get u a "value" the one needed is 777 meaning u need to select all options. greez |

2009-05-27 at 7:55 PM - hajo: 777 is needed on every directory and also any sub-directory inside /uploads ok u mean every dir need 777 ( no sub ? ) only uploads and all in it need 777 ??? and few more questions we can upload pic for avatar or war sceenshot??? looks like there is a bug in board when u want quote a guy who posted some pic( in quoting pic u get {comment:com_clip} <-this ) anyway thx for fast reply hope im not boring and my english is lil bit bad but try understand

you need 777 for the upload- and its sub-Directorys. uploads - 777 + users - 777 + galery - 777 + ... please include all files in the above named directorys to chmod 777 It is usefull, whe you give the home-Directory of Clansphere also 777 until the installation, cause the install script creates and modifies some Clansphere Files for your needs. After Install change the Clansphere Home-Directory back to chmod value before. Your second question is answered automaticly if you've changed your uploads (and sub-Directorys) to 777, cause this error comes out with your permission issues (imho)... ------------------ --- CLANSPHERE ---
