Hi, I don't know if this has already been done but is there any video module for Clansphere? I would like to show a video somewhere in the page (and the admin can change the link to this video easily). Thanks! Tybo ------------------

Thanks for translating...  But this code is needed to put videos in board... isn't it? What I need is a module where you can put a link to a video (or maybe upload) and wich show this video on the site. (A little bit like the gallery module wich show random pictures). ------------------

But this code is needed to put videos in board... isn't it? It is. With the upload... well complicated. Surely it would be possible to let the people upload videos, but then you might run into truble as some users upload divx or similar. So you would need to encode them into another format which (nearly) every Browser understands. Flash would be a solution. I've repaired a Server this weekend which uses ffmpeg and 1-2 more apps to archive this. So you see the requirements are a litle bit high. I wrote somethin for my site but just for my "special" needs (d-rage.de) Its not a module Registered user with access greater 3 can easily upload .swf Movies with a fix dimension, extension and size. Useful for i.e. fragvideos. If there is any need I possible can convert it into a regular module but don't know how much time it will take |
