I would like to create a custom HTML page in my favorite HTML editor, then rename the HTML extension to .php. I will then add the PHP snippet at the top and bottom. I need Cshpere to protect this page and allow access for a user group I create. Is there a HTML wrapper as a snippet? How should I proceed? |

well for custom html content there is the possibility to use the static pages mod. if you want that content to be placed somewhere else the template htm file might be what you are looking for. you can add e.g. a placeholder like {mymodule:myaction} in it and add a file to /mods/mymodule/ which is named myaction.php then. to limit the access you can check for $access['mymodule'] if that module is correctly activated and created with the mod wizard in "system -> modules -> create module". ------------------ ClanSphere - professional clan care starts here |
